Tinker Hatfield's original concept for the Air Jordan 3 is finally seeing the light of day in 2018, 30 years after the iconic sneaker first released. The most noticeable features of the remade silhouette are the large swoosh adorning the lateral side and the grey"NIKE" branding on the medial side of the ankle, embellishment that were originally removed from the Jordan 3's final design. The shoe's colorway is a slightly altered version of the classic"Fire Red" Air Jordan 3, featuring a white and black midsole and light grey mudguards. The low-top silhouette was initially inspired by a sketch from the iconic designer, boasting the original design cues with the exception of tonal black Swoosh logos embellished on each lateral side. Tinker's embroidered signature graces the inner tongue and insole, and the legendary Nike Air branding returns on the heel to complete the shoe's hybrid-classic look.
